As per Thailand’s law, no one can question the sovereignty or the actions of the King. Thailand is a Monarchy and anyone who criticizes or insults the king has to face a punishment that may be up to 15 years of imprisonment.
Presently, Thailand has reported 1,388 Coronavirus cases in the country. A time when people need assurance and help from their leaders, Thailand King has decided to spend a luxurious life outside the country in the name of Coronavirus isolation. As there is no one to question his actions, he has the liberty to act upon his will and wish.
But to remember, a good king is one who stays by his people at a time of critical and dangerous situations. World nations are trying hard to handle the situation in order to control the spread of the virus as well as minimize the deaths caused by the pandemic. But the Thai king seems that he is least bothered about the welfare of his people based on his actions.
