Australia Dream A Maiden T20 World Cup Title In 2021

Marcus Stoinis and Matthew Wade ride Australia to beat Pakistan by 5 wickets and reach the T20 World Cup finals.

Australia was in trouble at 96-5 when Stoinis (40 runs) and Wade (41 runs) came to batting. The duo put on an 81 run partnership to finish off the match by chasing 177 runs target.

Australia will now meet New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2021 final clash on Sunday in Dubai. After winning the Semis, Australia captain Aaron Finch said –

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam stated –

The way we started in the first half, we got the total we targeted,

But we gave them too much of a chance at the end of the chase. If we had taken that catch, it might have made the difference.
