BMW S1000 XR Launched In India With An Astonishing Price

Germany Luxury carmaker BMW’s two-wheeler manufacturing company BMW Motorrad has launched its new sports bike S 1000 XR in India on Thursday.

The new BMW S1000 is an adventurous sports bike which comes to India as a complete built-Up Unit (CBU) and opens for booking.

The 999cc bike is equipped with 4-in line cylinder engine with 11,000 rpm at 165 HP. Just within 3.3 seconds, the speed can reach 0-200kmph. The engine comprises of 84 lb-ft torque at 9,250 rpm.

When compared to its precedent bike model, the new BMW S 1000 XR has a dynamic design and newly defined engine technology. The uncompromised ergonomics is surprising in its performance.

It has a striking front design with Pro headlight which enable daytime LED lights and has fierce, sport front design. The 6.5″ TFT display with BMW Motorrad connectivity has replaced the instrumental panel. BMW Motorrad Connectivity connects a smartphone, bike, and helmet via Bluetooth for navigation, favourite song, and conversations.

To facilitate storage, a 109 cubic inch storage compartment has been fitted under the seat. The sports look is made brighter colours of Red and White Aluminum Metallic Matte underlines.

Comfortable handlebars make the ride easy and stress-free. The seat position is designed in such a way that long-distance riding is relaxing. The seat design also helps in combating cold, driving noises and the elements. The low weight delivers a better acceleration for higher agility. In other words, more riding enjoyment and a sporty head start.

Coming to the price factor, which is the most important while investing on such a bike, it is a bit surprising. The ex-showroom price in India is around .20.90 lakh. This is a bit too high in India. But the bike and its features when compared to its price, the budget is balancing. The brand value and the sports look that it carries will surely lure the sportbike riders anywhere in the world.
