As anticipated, the intensive second wave has started its impact in India with a steep rise in the number of positive coronavirus case recordings.

As of now 1,84,372 fresh COVID cases have been registered and at least 1,027 deaths have been recorded in just the past 24 hours. To remember, this figure is just for a single day.

As of now, there is no reason explained for the rise in the new cases. Despite the vaccination, many people in the country are still in the danger zone of COVID affecting.

However, the major concern lies in the fact that the total number of COVID-19 cases in India is 1,38,73,825. This figure is confirmed as per the records of the Indian Health ministry. India has 13,65,704 active COVID-19 cases at present.

Some of the states like Maharashtra are under the scanner of the COVID-19 pandemic continuously. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday was about to announce a lockdown in the state. But considering the economical and other situations, he announced some of the tough restrictions as a part to contain the pandemic.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet the Union Educational minister and other top officials to discuss the CBSE board exams issue amid demands to cancel it due to Covid.

All the states in India are gearing up measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic with various measures. People have a big role to play in this. Social distancings and Mask are the primary as well as mandatory things that the public has to take care of.

One major fact one should be aware of the situation is, COVID-19 is an increasing trend in India. The infections, as well as the deaths, are suggesting a serious bell of alarm.
