Eight Powerful Nations Form Alliance To Counter China

Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Norway, Sweden, UK and USA have formed an alliance to counter China related to Trade, Human Rights and Security.

To stop the Chinese ambitions from growing as a trade leader which poses a threat to human rights and also security, the mentioned countries have formed an alliance with senior lawmakers. The group is co-chaired by US Republican Senator Marco Rubio and Democrat Bob Menendez, former Japanese defence minister Gen Nakatani, European Parliament foreign affairs committee member Miriam Lexmann, and prominent UK Conservative lawmaker Iain Duncan Smith.

The Inter-Parliamentary Alliance was launched on Friday which will focus on Chinese expansion of trade and other activities.

All these countries were suffering from Chinese policies with respect to its political as well as economical ambitions. US has been very much serious in Chinese aspect. Trump’s administration believes that China is responsible for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. US is the worst-hit country with more than 1,30,000 deaths due to coronavirus.

In the recent past, US-Chinese relations are on the verge of breakdown due to coronavirus outbreak. Donald Trump’s administration strongly believes that COVID_19 is a laboratory-created virus aiming the US citizens.

Now, US strongly condemns the Chinese imposition of new national security legislation in Hong Kong which it terms as a threat to the city’s autonomy. But China has termed that the new national security legislation in Hong Kong is an internal matter of China and no outsider has the right to interfere in it.
