The suspense is still continuing regarding the next Prime Ministerial candidate for Israel. The final results are still awaiting to be announced officially.

The elections 2019 have turned to be most interesting as there seems no clear majority for any single party or Alliance. Initially the analysis stated the main competition for the PM office might e between the two major parties – Likud (Present ruling party) and Blue and white (Main opposition party).

But as the opinion polls suggest as well as the results pouring from the elections committee, the numbers look unclear majority for any single party or the pre-poll alliance parties.

As far as the latest reports received, ruling party Lukid headed by the  Benjamin Netanyahu is likely to gain 29.29% of votes. The opposition party headed by Benny Gantz has gained 24.83% voter’s confidence. Apart from these two major parties some of the allaince parties have Yisrael Bateinu – 8.22%, Shas – 9%, UTJ – 7.59%, Yamina – 7%, and Labor-Gesher – 5% of votes.

The Democratic Camp lead by Avigdor Lieberman is likely to gain 3.83% of votes. Hence, it is expected to play a major role in the formation of upcoming government.

In brief, Likud and its allies may bag 56 seats where as Blue and white party along its pre poll allies may bag 55 seats. Out of the total 120 seats in Israel Parliament, Avigdor Lieberman has become a key role player in the formation of the next government. He is like to to win 9 seats.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has already called the opposition leader for coalition government. But there is no positive response from the other side.

On the other hand, the cases against Netanyahu are coming for hearing in courts in the coming days which may create troubles for him.
