Morris Garages, in short MG, has launched its latest SUV in India with a starting price of ₹.13,48,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Chinese SAIC Motor Corporation Limited owned British automotive company has launched the latest MG Hector Plus SUV in the Indian automobile market with some of the upgraded and safety features. Hector Plus has 25+ safety features.
The 6 seater SUV comes in three fuel types – Petrol, Diesel and Hybrid. All three models come in two Power Trains – Manual and Automatic.
Coming to the Variants, the Petrol engine’s manual type has Super and Style trims. Whereas Petrol engine Automatic power train has Sharp and Smart Trims.
The Diesel engine has got 4 trims for the Manual gear type model – Sharp, Smart, Super and Style. The Hybrid Petrol engine has an only manual type with Sharp, Smart and Supermodels.
Hector Plus is rich in safety features. It has Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Hold Control, ABS+EBD+Brake Assist, Rear Disk braking system, Cornering Front fog Lamps for better visibility during low light conditions, ISOFIX Child seat anchors which are designed for small kids safety, High-speed warning alert. Apart from this, the dual front airbags provide safety for the driver and co-driver passenger.
The second seating passengers are equipped with captain seats with slide, recline ad individual armrest facilities. All the three rows seats are height adjustable and contain headrests.
2nd Row AC Vents and 3rd Row AC Vents with Separate Fan speed control provide the temperatures evenly spread in the hot conditions.
Coming to the engine specifications, the MG Hector Plus has a 1.5-litre Turbo engine with 143 PS Power @ 250NM Torque for the petrol vehicle.
The diesel engine is a 2.0-litre turbo capacity with 170 PS Power @ 350 NM Torque. The Hybrid model comes with a 48V Hybrid engine with 1.5 Litre Turbo capacity has a 143 PS power @ 250 NM torque.
