Novak Djokovic defeated Matteo Berrettini in the Wimbledon final to win a record-equaling 20th Grand Slam title. It is his 6th Wimbledon title.

Djokovic’s Wimbledon 2021 Final win also equals Roger Federer’s and Rafael Nadal’s 2 Grand slam titles record. Novak Djokovic defeated Matteo Berrettini in the Wimbledon final to win Wimbledon 2021 title. His match scores stand at 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3. The Italian Matteo Berrettini also displayed superb game skills. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal Congratulated Novak Djokovic for Record-Equalling Grand Slam.

Novak Djokovic Wimbledon titles include 2011, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2021. He is also the World no.1 ranked player for a record seventh time. He has won 34 out of 37 matches this year. He became the first player to qualify for this year’s ATP Finals. After this win Djokovic said –

I am happy to have qualified for Turin so early,

Wimbledon has a golden era as 3 legends have won 60 titles in a span of 18 years. Rafa Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner all feature in the Top 12 with four months remaining in the regular ATP Tour season. Djokovic will play in his 14th ATP Finals.

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the 2019 ATP Finals champion, is next in line to qualify in the second position for the Turin event, followed by local favourite Berrettini.
