Chinese smartphone manufacturer One Plus Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., commonly referred to as OnePlus has launched Nord in India today.
OnePlus Nord is the first smartphone that has been launched in an affordable price products range. The company has launched the gadget in India at a time when there is an adverse wind blowing for China manufactured products.
Specifications
It features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ 1,080×2,400 pixels Fluid AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with Adreno 620 GPU and up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM supports fast and smooth experience.
Coming to the dimensions it measures 158.3 x 73.3 x 8.2 mm and weigh 184 grams.
The OnePlus Nord smartphone comes with hole-punch display design and flaunts quad cameras at the back that provide almost 300 optimisations. The quad rear camera includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.75 lens along with optical image stabilisation (OIS). It has an ultra-wide-angle lens that has an FoV of 105°.

In front, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.25 ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field of view (FoV) of 119°. Also, a 2-megapixel macro shooter along with 5-megapixel depth shooter – both with an f/2.4 aperture add quality for selfies.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, magnetometer and a proximity sensor. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
USB Type-C port supports 30T fast charging technology which can charge 4,115mAh battery in a short time.

OnePlus Nord will be sold in India in three variants and two colour options
- 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at ₹.24,999/-,
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at ₹.27,999/- and
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹.29,999/-.
