19-year old Mohammad Hasnain achieved this fleet by claiming wickets of Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Shehan Jayasuriya, and Shehan Jayasuriya.

Sri Lanka’s Bhanuka Rajapaksa, 27, made his international debut with this series.

Amazingly, 19-year old bowler achieved this honor in the 19th over of the match to complete his hat-trick.

Sri Lanka shock Pakistan by defeating in the first T20 International match played in Lahore on Saturday. SL lead the 3 match series 1-0.

Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and opted to bowl first. Sri Lanka started their innings very strongly with an opening partnership of 84 runs between Danushka Gunathilaka and Avishka Fernando. At the end of Sri Lankan innings of allotted 20 overs, it scored 165 runs by losing 5 wickets. Opener Gunathilaka scored 57 runs in 38 runs.

For Pakistan, star bowler Hasnain took 3 wickets in his spell of 4 overs by giving 37 runs.

Chasing 166 runs target, Pakistan could manage only scoring 101 runs in 17.4 overs. The entire team got bowled out. Sri Lankan bowlers Isuru Udana, Nuwan Pradeep claimed 3 wickets each while Wanindu Hasaranga took 2 wickets. Kasun Rajitha took 1 wicket.

Iftikhar Ahmed stood as the top scorer with 25 runs along with Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 24 runs. No other Pakistani player scored enough runs to achieve the winning total. Hasnain’s heroic efforts went in vain as Sri Lank defeated Pakistan by 64 runs.

With this win, Sri Lanka has taken a lead of 1-0 in the three-match series against Pakistan. The next two matches will be played on 7th October and 9th October.
