South Korean technology giant Samsung received orders for around 1.4 lakh units worth ₹.1,400 cr on the first day of Samsung Galaxy S23 pre-booking.
Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S23 is the costliest phone of the brand.
Samsung India, Senior Vice President for Mobile Business, Raju Pullan told that the pre-booking for Samsung Galaxy S23 is almost two-fold compared to the previous version of the smartphone Galaxy S22.
We have clocked almost 1.4 lakh units as pre-book in the first 24 hours and this is almost two times of Galaxy S22. With an average price of about a lakh of rupees, the turnover on a free book is almost ₹.1,400 crore within 24 hours,
The launch price of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series in India is in the range between ₹.75,000 to ₹.1.55 lakh. The pre-booking will continue till February 23, 2023. The lineup consists of three phones: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series is 2.7-30 percent higher when compared to Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones.

Samsung has slashed the price of Galaxy Watch 4 LTE and Galaxy Buds 2 by about 90% from ₹.48,000 to ₹.4,999 for customers on pre-booking the high-end Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Without any interest, Samsung Galaxy S23 can be purchased in 24 installments or 15 installments.
Samsung Galaxy S23 – Make In India
Samsung plans to make Galaxy S23 in India after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the removal of duty on the import of camera lenses, which is one of the key unique selling propositions of Galaxy S series smartphones.
The company has announced that Galaxy S23 will be manufactured at its Noida plant.
Earlier, Galaxy S Series smartphones were manufactured at Samsung’s Vietnam factory and then imported to India for sale.
Alongside the Galaxy S23 series phones, the launch of the Galaxy Book3 laptop took place. The price range of ₹.1,09,990 to ₹.2,81,990.
