Sony has announced its new Sony Bravia X90J series in India with a slogan “world’s first cognitive intelligence TV series, which thinks like a human brain”.
According to Sony –
the Sony Bravia XR-55X90J is powered by the XR Cognitive Processor. This allows the TV to detect the focal point – that is, the most important element or zone in a particular frame – and enhance the picture quality exactly where it predicts the viewer’s focus is. The picture quality is thus claimed to be more natural looking and memorable,
Sony Bravia X90J TV supports 4K upscaling, HDR, Dolby Vision, HLG, 120Hz refresh rate, and auto-latency mode. It comes with Sony’s display technologies such as XR Cognitive processor. It has Ultra-HD 3840 x 2160-pixel display screen enabled with picture enhancement technologies like Live Colour, XR Smoothing, XR Triluminos Pro, XR Motion Clarity. Thus improving the viewing experience.

On the connectivity front, there are 4 HDMI ports, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2 USB ports, etc. It comes with two 10W speakers that support Dolby Audio and Atmos. The speaker system is of 20W sound output.
Sony Bravia X90J Ultra-HD HDR LED 55″ TV has been launched in India with a price of ₹.1,39,990. The television is among the most advanced options available from Sony in India right now. Sony India has announced of launching 65-inch and 75-inch variants in the X90J series soon.
The X90J series updates Sony’s premium LED Triluminos TV range for 2021. Earlier, the X90H series was the top one which was launched in 2020.
The X90H series is currently priced at ₹.1,10,900 for the 55-inch variant.
The Sony Bravia 55X90J goes up against competition in the QLED and LED segments from LG, Samsung, OnePlus, and TCL which are priced at around or slightly lower than Sony. Sony’s reputation in the segment does command a premium over its competitors.
