Toyota Vellfire was launched in India on Wednesday, 27th February as against Mercedes Benz V Class with a tag price of ₹.79.50 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi).
Toyota’s luxury MPV Vellfire which is considered as the big brother of Innova arrives in India through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. This was launched officially by Toyota Kirloskar Motor MD Mr.Masakazu Yoshimura along with Vice Chairman Vikram Kirloskar.
As of today, Toyota Vellfire vehicles have been delivered in three shipments and all of them were sold out. Vellfire is the costliest vehicle from Toyota in India. It is a self-charging Hybrid electric vehicle.

Toyota giant 2494cc engine capacity Vellfire has a bold and massive appearance on the road. On wheels it measures about 4,935mm in length, 1,850mm in width and 1,950mm in height. With 17″ Hyper Chrome Alloy wheels, it has a wheelbase of 3,000mm above the ground.
The engine provides a mileage of 16.35kmpl which is a 2.5-litre petrol with parallel-hybrid technology and consists of 2 independent electric motors. Vellfire delivers a maximum power of 117 Ps at a peak torque of 198Nm @ 2800-4000 rpm.
The 7 seater Vellfire has a luxury look well inside and outside. There are 2 sunroofs on the vehicle with 3 climate control zones. There are 2 colour options to choose for interiors – Black and Flaxen (Beige).
Infotainment has a 13-inch monitor fitted on top with leather upholstery. 16-colour ambient lighting is provided at the top inside.
Seating is also provided with comfortable adjustments. Along with the front passenger seat, the middle row passenger seats also got the luxury features. 8-way recliner power seats provide comfort
Apart from luxury features, safety features have also been taken care of. 7 SRS Airbags have been provided to avoid causalities.
Toyota Vellfire is available in 4 colours – Pearl White, Burning Black, Black and Graphite.
