On Monday, the Chinese technology company has launched its new model Vivo Y21A smartphone in India. This is yet another budget phone from the company that has been listed in Indian Vivo website list. Vivo Y21A has dual rear cameras.
Vivo Y21A features and specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y21A runs on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11.1 placed on MediaTek Helio P22 SoC board.
It features a 6.51-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display screen.
There is also a 1GB Extended RAM feature that essentially uses the built-in storage to virtually expand the RAM.
The dual rear camera setup has an 13-megapixel primary sensor, along with an f/2.0 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
For selfies and video chats, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.0 lens.
It carries 18W fast charging support to charge the packed 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone measures 164.26 x 76.08 x 8mm and weighs 182 grams.

It is available in a single variant and features two distinct colour options – Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue.

Vivo Y21A Competitors in the Market
The Vivo Y21A seems to give a tough competition for the Redmi Note 10, Poco M3, and the Infinix Note 11S models.
Earlier this month, the Vivo Y21e was launched at ₹.12,990/- for 3GB + 64GB model.
Vivo Y55 5G was also launched in Taiwan. However it is expected to be launched in India soon as there are hints for the same. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage and priced at TWD 7,990 (roughly ₹.21,500/-).
