The Japanese manufacturer has introduced Yamaha FZ25 and Yamaha FZS 25 bikes in India with exciting new features and specifications.
Features and Specifications
Both the models are equipped with a 249cc single-cylinder fuel-injected BS-VI compliant air Cooled, SOHC, 4 Stroke engine. The engine matches the Maximum horsepower of 20.8PS (15.3kW) / 8000rpm and maximum torque of 20.1N.m (2.0 kg f.m) / 6000rpm.
The sports bike has a 5-speed transmission type with a compression ratio of 9:8:1. The overall dimensions of the vehicle stand at 2,015 mm x 820 mm x 1105 mm (L x W x H) for FZS 25 and 2,015 mm x 775 mm x 1,075 mm (L x W x H) for FZ 25.
Both the bikes have got a good ground clearance of 160mm with a wheelbase of 1360mm. The turning radius has measured a minimum of 2.5m with a front tubeless tyre size of 100/ 80-17M/ C 52P and at the backside with a size of 140/ 70-17M/ C 66S.
Dual-Channel ABS + Disc Brake Front 282mm / Rear 220mm will facilitate abrupt brakings as per Indian road conditions. The 7-Step Adjustable Monocross Suspension will balance the bike at the time of sudden braking.
Keeping in view about the power-to-weight ratio, the FZS 25 weighs about 154kg and FZ 25 weighs about 153kg. The less weight will not only enable balancing but also enhance the fuel mileage.
Some of the security features include Side Stand with Engine Cut-off Switch, Class D Bi Functional LED H/L + LED Daytime Running Lamps, Multi-function Negative LCD Instrument Cluster which indicate Speed, Fuel gauge and consumption and clock.
Yamaha FZ25 and FZS 25 Colour & Price
Both the models – Yamaha FZ25 and Yamaha FZS 25 will hit the roads with the price tag of ₹.1,52,100 and ₹.1,57,100 (Ex-Showroom Price in Delhi) respectively.
Yamaha FZ 25 will be available in 2 colours – Metallic Black and Racing Blue. Yamaha FZS 25 will be available in 3 colours – Patina Green, White-Vermillion and Dark Matt Blue.
