Match 2 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 between Pakistan and Netherlands was played at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Netherlands won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first Pakistan posted a total of 286 in 49 overs as the entire team got out inside the limited 50 overs.
Pakistan batsmen Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel scored 68 runs each along with Mohammad Nawaz (39 runs) and Shadab Khan (32 runs) to post the total of 286.
Netherland bowlers Bas de Leede claimed 4 wickets followed by Colin Ackermann’s 2 wickets bowling spell.
Chasing a total of 287 runs to win, Netherlands were all out for 205 runs in 40.5 overs. Netherland’s opening batsman Vikramjit Singh and Bas de Leede scored 52 runs and 67 runs respectively.
All the Pakistani bowlers picked wickets and made Netherlands to face their defeat in the ICC World Cup 2023 match. Haris Rauf 3/43 and Hasan Ali 2/33 were the key bowlers in Pakistan’s success.

After this win, Pakistan started off with a win in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 tournament. Pakistan defeated Netherlands by 81 runs and secured 2 points.
Pakistan Batsman Saud Shakeel was declared Player of the match for his knock of 68 runs in 52 balls.
