India To Conduct Mock Drills Tomorrow To Check Civil Preparedness

Amid tensions with Pakistan, India has issued instructions to all the states to conduct mock drills in all the states to check the preparedness of civilians in case of war.

In a statement, the Union Home Affairs today has directed all the state governments and Union territories to conduct a mock drill to check not only the preparedness by the civilians but also for the armed forces regarding the operationalisation of hotline and radio-communication links with the Indian Air Force (IAF), testing the functionality of control rooms, and shadow control rooms.

The aim of these mock drills is to entail crash-blackout measures, installations and updating and rehearsing of evacuation plans, early camouflaging of vital plants.

These mock drills will check the preparedness of the operationalisation of air-raid warning sirens and train civilians on civil-defence aspects to protect themselves in the event of a “hostile attack”.

On May 7,2025 the drills will be carried out at the 244 categorised civil defence districts across the country.

Here is the list of the mock drills that will be conducted tomorrow category wise by India.

India is repeatedly issuing statements that there will be a firm and tough reaction for Pakistan’s Pakistan backed Pahalgam terror attack. India already started the diplomatic counter attack on Pakistan Internationally. Many actions like diplomatic ties and treaties suspension have created a havoc among Pakistan administration.
