The much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus models in the series are expected to launch in February 2026.
Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus: What to expect
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G Design and Display
The Samsung Ultra 26 will reportedly feature minor but impactful design upgrades.
Expect a slimmer 0.4mm body, a raised camera island replacing the floating camera rings, and polished aluminum edges for a sleek, premium grip.
The display is where the magic truly happens — a 6.9-inch M14 OLED panel with CoE (Colour-on-Encapsulation) technology ensures deeper blacks, brighter whites, and peak brightness up to 3000 nits (up from 2600 nits on the S25 Ultra).
Exclusive Feature: The new Flex Magic Pixel privacy tech dims your screen from side angles, protecting your content from curious eyes — a perfect touch for privacy-conscious users.
Depending on the market, both the phones are expected to use either Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chipset or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. If Qualcomm Snapdragon is used then those models may remain limited to China and the US only. Both run on 12GB RAM with Android 16-based Samsung’s One UI 8.5.
Both phones are likely to have an IP68 rating for water resistance and dust proofing along with front and back glass protection with aluminium frame.
Both are fitted with LTPO M14 AMOLED panel of an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ screens.
Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus camera hardware is likely to remain mostly unchanged from current generation models – a triple rear camera setup, consisting of 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto lens. The only notable change could be a higher-resolution 3x telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
It is expected to sport a refreshed rear camera design with a pill-shaped module replaceing individual rings. It is likely to retain 5,000mAh battery as its predecessor. Wireless charging could increase to 25W from 15W via Qi2-compatible first-party accessories while wired charging may reach 60W on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
