Australian batsmen, apart from Stoinis, Aaron Finch (31 runs from 42 balls), and Glenn Maxwell (23 runs from 12 balls) helped Australia in chasing the target.
Sri Lankan bowlers Dhananjaya de Silva, Chamika Karunaratne, and Maheesh Theekshana took 1 wicket each. But the bowling efforts from the Sri Lankan side could not resist the Australian batsmen from reaching the target.
