In a race of launching coronavirus vaccines, Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched the world’s first Covid-19 Vaccine ‘Sputnik V’.
“Sputnik V” is dubbed from its Soviet satellite. While launching the vaccine Putin stated –
This morning, for the first time in the world, a vaccine against the new coronavirus was registered,
Further, he said that it is
a very important step for the world.
While talking about the vaccine’s effectiveness, Putin said
I know that it works quite effectively, forms strong immunity, and I repeat, it has passed all the needed checks,
Putin informed that the COVID-19 vaccine was first tested on his daughter. He briefed a few details of the Vaccine as how it worked on his daughter. He said that on day 1 and the first dose, the temperature of 100.4° Fahrenheit (38° Celsius). And on Day 2 the temperature was dropped to 98.6° Fahrenheit. And after the 2nd dose, the temperature just got raised and then its all over. He said that
She’s feeling well and has high number of antibodies,
Though the Vaccine has not been registered yet, about have pre-ordered the Vaccine more than a billion doses which include India.
