Tata Commercial Vehicles which run with Prima model name in the Indian market are now technologically upgraded with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Tata Motors has launched CNG-powered M&CHV (Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles) – Tata Signa and Tata Prima.
Tata Signa Vehicles:
Tata Signa CNG trucks are powered with CNG and come in two variants – 19 and 28-tonne capacity nodes. These model trucks are offered in varied wheelbase and load deck length options.
These trucks are powered by a 5.7-litre engine producing 178 BHP and 650 Nm.TATA Signa CNG trucks have a driving range of up to 1,000 km.
Tata Prima Vehicles:
These trucks come with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which includes features such as Collision Mitigation System (CMS), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Driver Monitoring System (DMS), ESC, and TPMS.
Both the models – TATA Prima and TATA Signa series are equipped with a 3-spoke steering wheel mounted with controls and Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from steering upgradation, an infotainment system has been added. Both the models have a 7-inch touchscreen head unit with connectivity features and a new instrument cluster.

TATA Motors has also announced the launch of another 7 new Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicles (I&LCV) – LPK 610, LPT 709g XD, SK 510 tipper, Ultra T.12g, Ultra K.14, LPT 1512g, and the Ultra T.16 Cx.
Almost all the launched new models are upgraded either features-wise or technical-wise. For example, the LPK 610 has got a high ground clearance and H2LS brakes. The LPT 70g XD has got an extra deck area of 5 sq. ft and 10% higher fuel efficiency.
