Democrats Nominate Joe Biden To Challenge Donald Trump

In a race for the United States Presidential post, Democrats have nominated Joe Biden as their presidential candidate to challenge Donald Trump.

The 77-year-old Biden has spent more than 3 decades in politics. On Tuesday, a chance to eye the Presidential post has been created by his fellow Democrats by choosing him as the opponent that can oust Donald Trump.

He will lead the election campaign as an official presidential candidate from the Democrat Party. The U.S. elections are due to be held in November 2020.

Initially, there were many rumours that Trump may postpone the elections due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But nothing much happened in that direction.

On Thursday, Biden will deliver his acceptance speech from a convention hall near his Delaware house.

Many big names like former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, former State Secretary John Kerry and former Republican Secretary of State Colin Powell have supported Joe Biden as a candidate to challenge Trump. This will boost moral support for Biden to counter Trump and his policies.

Bill Clinton Stated that

If you want a president who defines the job as spending hours a day watching TV and zapping people on social media, he’s your man,

John Kerry said that

Donald Trump inherited a growing economy and a more peaceful world,

And like everything else he inherited, he bankrupted it. When this president goes oversees it isn’t a goodwill mission. It’s a blooper reel.

Powell, who served as secretary of state under President George W. Bush in the past also endorsed Biden. To remember, Powell belonged to the Republican Party.

Now, Biden has to focus on his Conventional campaigns that could boost his winning chances against Trump. On Monday night, the viewership was low when compared to Hillary Clinton’s convention 4 years ago.
