Australia won the toss and opt to bat first. Steven Smith scored 94 runs along with Marnus Labuschagne (58 runs) and Mitchell Marsh (50 runs) to put 280 runs on the scoreboard to chase.
England’s bowlers Adil Rashid (3/57), Chris Woakes (2/42), David Willey (2/44) and Adil Rashid (1/57) were successful bowlers to claim wickets.
Australia lost its first wicket in the form of Warner in the 6th over. In the 9th over, another Australian opener Head was Caught by Moeen Ali and thus Australia lost their 2nd wicket for 43 runs.
30th over and 43rd over were the highest-scoring overs for Australia. England gave away 12 runs in these over. In the 28th over and 49th overs, England claimed 2 wickets in succession.
At the end of the 50th over, Australia managed to post a total score of 280 runs on board by losing 8 wickets. England now needs 281 runs to win and level the series.

6th Over was an astonishing over from Australian bowler James Vince in which he took a wicket and gave no runs in this over. England was 34/3 in the 6th over.
James Vince and Sam Billings built a 4th wicket partnership of 122 runs in 136 balls. The partnership got broke after Hazlewood’s dismissal. Hazlewood scored 60 runs from 72 balls and he fell to James Vince in the 28th over.
