Hyundai Motor Group Aims To Sell 1 Million EV Units

Hyundai Motor Group aims to sell 1 million units of electric vehicles by 2025 which also will facilitate the aim to grab 10% share of the total EV market.

Presently Tesla is leading the Electric Vehicles market with a strong foothold with its models. The South Korean maker will be launching 3 new brands namely – Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 7. All these models will be launched completely by the year 2025.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 which is a mid-sized Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) will be the first vehicle in the Electric Vehicles List of Hyundai. This is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2021.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 is listed second for the launch. It is a Sedan car which is expected to be launched in the year 2022. Also, this is based on the latest concepts of Electrical Vehicle (EV).

Hyundai Ioniq 7 is a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and also the highlighted vehicle by the Hyundai Motors in the EV segment. It has striking design elements with a huge look.

Hyundai Kona Electric model is already launched in India with exhilarating & innovative technology. The starting price of the Kona Electric is ₹. 2,375,900 (ex-showroom price, New Delhi).

Electric Vehicles seem to be the future as many countries are encouraging the Automobile manufacturers in this way to safeguard the air. EV is a big alternative for the existing fuel-based vehicles in terms of vehicle specs and features. The air pollution will also drastically come down if these EVs replace the fuelled vehicles.

Apart from Hyundai, Skoda has facelifted its EV model. Skoda Enyaq is the new EV model from the Czech automobile manufacturer.

Another competitor for Tesla is Lucid in the EV market. Lucid Air is the first luxury that will be introduced into the market by early 2021 followed by an SUV in 2023.

However, all these companies have just announced the models. Once they are into the market many factors like the price, specifications and features will be a deciding factor for their success in the market. These factors will comprise a major concept of attraction for the buyer.
