Israel Gaza War Updates: Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu has warned that the war will continue as long as the ground offensives in Gaza remain active.
On Saturday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israeli forces had unleashed the 2nd phase of the Gaza war with ground operations against Hamas militants.
In a press conference along with Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz and Defence Minister Yoav Galant, he vowed his forces would destroy the enemy above the ground as well as below the ground.
Hamas-ruled Palestinian enclave was bombarded by the Israeli jets just before the ground offensive started. Israel-Gaza War was started after the Islamist group, Hamas killed 1,400 Israelis with bomb blasts on Oct 7, 2023. This is the deadliest attack by the Hamas terrorists in 75 years of Israeli history.
However, Israel is facing International concern over the bombing which hindered the aid to the Gaza civilians. But the Western countries have backed Israel by saying that it is self-defence by Israel.

Desperate people were turning to the police, to use their walkie-talkies to seek help. Health authorities in the Gaza Strip say that around 7,650 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s campaign to obliterate the militants. Approximately 2.3 million live in the Gaza Strip.
Gazans are short of food, water, fuel, and medicines. The situation got worse from Friday as phone and Internet services were destroyed completely because of heavy bombing throughout the night.
Israel has blockaded and bombarded Gaza for 3 weeks starting from Oct 7, 2023.
