Lumix DC-S1H, World’s First 6K/24p Video Recording Camera has been launched in India by Panasonic yesterday. It is priced at ₹.3,19,000/- (body-only).
Lumix DC-S1H by Panasonic is the first camera with such a high resolution. Normally 4K Video recording has been in practice for DSLR cameras. But this latest camera has stepped forward by introducing6K Video recording capability.
Lumix DC-S1H is Panasonic’s latest digital single-lens full-frame mirrorless camera. It can deliver cinema-quality video output. In August 2019, Panasonic company launched this camera globally for the first time.
Panasonic Lumix DC-S1H Highlights
Coming from an S-Series family, the DC-S1H sensor’s resolution is set at 24.2-megapixels with new Dual Native ISO. ISO that allows users to get the sharpest image with the most accurate details possible.
A 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor can capture and record videos at 6K resolution. It is compatible with L-mount interchangeable lenses. It can shoot at 6K/24p (3:2 aspect ratio) or 5.9K/30p (16:9 aspect ratio), and 4K/C4K (10-bit 60p).

Like the Lumix S series lens, a 5-axis Body IS (image stabilizer) is combined with 2-axis OIS (optical image stabilization) enables to overcome shaky shots during handheld video recording.
Unlimited video recording limit, Full V-Log/ V-Gamut with 14+ stops of dynamic range, a 4:2:2 10 bit internal recording, HDR (High Dynamic Range) shooting in HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), Anamorphic 4:3 modes, a waveform monitor, and a V-Log View Assist function.
The full-frame mirrorless camera is capable of delivering HDMI Output. Lumix DC-S1H DSLM camera supports unlimited video recording.
The Standard accessories include Body Cap, Hot Shoe Cover, Eye Cup, Flash Synchro Socket Cap, Cover for the Battery Grip Connector, Shoulder Strap, Battery Pack, Battery Charger, AC Adaptor, AC Mains Lead, USB Connection Cable (C-C), USB Connection Cable (A-C), BNC Converter Cable, Cable Holder. Other attachments need to be purchased by affording the extra cost.
