Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace SUV Production In India Ceased

Volkswagen India has announced that Tiguan AllSpace 7-seater SUV’s production will be discontinued and is no longer mentioned on the brand’s official website.

As the mini SUV’s have a great demand in the Indian Automobile market, a new Volkswagen Tiguan 5-seater will be introduced to replace the outgoing model. Volkswagen is taking registrations for the new Tiguan.

Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace 3-row 7-seater SUV was launched in India in 2020. The car was available for the buyers as a fully assembled unit (CBU). The Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace had a price tag of ₹.34.20 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

The discontinued model had a 2-litre 4-cylinder TSI petrol engine in a single as well as in a fully-loaded configuration which generated 190PS and 320Nm of torque. It had 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Standard features like an automated tailgate, panoramic sunroof, touchscreen multimedia head-unit with Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, Android Auto were provided.

On the other hand, Tiguan 5-seater might arrive in India soon. As per the reports, the new Tiguan 5-seater’s launch is expected on December 7, 2021. However, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India announced the commencement of production of this vehicle has started in India.
