An Israel-UAE deal has not only brought two nations close but also close to Trump’s dream of receiving a Nobel Peace Prize 2021.
The US President Donald Trump on several occasions has expressed his wish of receiving a Nobel Peace Prize. Now, his dream might become true if the Nobel Prize issuing committee decides to do so. This all comes as a part of Trump’s contribution of bringing two rival countries – Israel and the United Arab Emirates to one place.
Trump’s efforts were accomplished by both the nations Israel and UAE by establishing friendly ties. The historical deal has facilitated in normalising the ties between both the countries.

The proposal of Trump’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize 2021 was made by Christian Tybring-Gjedde who is a member of Norwegian Parliament.
In a press statement, Tybring-Gjedde said
For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,
Earlier, Trump said that he was eligible for the award as he has worked in that path. He said –
I made a deal, I saved a country, and I just heard that the head of that country is now getting the Nobel Peace Prize for saving the country. I said, ‘What, did I have something do with it?
Yeah, but you know, that’s the way it is. As long as we know, that’s all that matters … I saved a big war, I’ve saved a couple of them,
The statement was pointed to the In January 2020, during a rally in Ohio’s Toledo, he expressed his opinion of his eligibility to get a Noble Peace Prize 2021.
He also quoted an example referring to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed getting the award earlier. Abiy Ahmed was awarded the prize for ending Ethiopian border conflict with neighbouring Eritrea in 2018.
Trump also quoted President Barack Obama receiving the coveted award. In February 2019, Trump said
They gave it to Obama. He didn’t even know what he got it for. He was there for about 15 seconds and he got the Nobel Prize. He said, ‘Oh, what did I get it for?
