Hero Motocorp, today launched its electric scooter in India. Hero Vida V1 is the first vehicle launched by the company in this segment.
Hero Motocorp’s own first electric two-wheeler under its new brand name Vida is launched in 2 variants – Hero Vida V1 Plus and Hero Vida V1 Pro. Interestingly, VIDA is a new electric brand under Hero MotoCorp with a new logo and identity.
The launch will take place in different phases. In Phase-I, Bangalore, Delhi, and Jaipur cities are covered.

The company has launched Vida fast Charging Network, Vida Platform, and Vida services along with Vida V1 Electric Scooter.
According to Hero Motocorp, it has earmarked USD 100 million (about ₹.760 crore) for a global fund to support over 10,000 entrepreneurs developing Environmental, Social, and Governance solutions. Recently, Hero MotoCorp announced a partnership with the California-based electric bike maker, Zero Motorcycles to enhance its Research & Development department and reduce the chances of delay in the future.
