Skoda Karoq 2020, the first 5-seater compact SUV launched in India today at ₹ 24.99 Lakh. The SUV is offered in only one top-end variant.
Skoda Karoq comes as a spiritual successor to the Skoda Yeti model. Though Skoda Karoq is present in the global automobile market for a few years from now, it is launched in India today only. For Indians, Skoda Karoq was first unveiled in the 2020 Auto Expo.
Skoda Karoq will come to India as CBU (Completely Built Unit). Here are some of the specifications of the Karoq 2020 model.

The Skoda Karoq is the only petrol SUV that is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter TSI that that is built on the MQB platform engine. The engine has a capacity of 148 bhp with 250 Nm of peak torque. Coming to the speed, the SUV can reach the speeds of 0-100 in just 9 seconds of time with an overall vehicle speed of 202 km/hr.
One of the backdrops of this vehicle is that this is just FWD (Front Wheel Drive)and not a 4×4 wheel drive vehicle. This is only for the Indian models.
Exteriors get a Skoda signature grill of butterfly shape flanked by LED lights (both headlamps and daytime running lamps and fog lamps with cornering function). It comes with a sculpted front bumper with a large central air dam and a beefy bumper.
Internally, it comes with an electrically-adjustable panoramic sunroof. It runs on a set of 16-inch alloy wheels. It has electrically operable ORVMs.
Coming to the seats with dual-tone beige and black interior with matching beige faux leather upholstery. It has got an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartLink connectivity. The Skoda Karoq 2020 SUV also gets an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Other features include 9 airbags for safety along with ABS, ESC, EBD, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Rear AC vents and large boot space is extra comfort for the passengers in the new Skoda Karoq 2020 SUV Indian model.
